Puneet Singh joined Eight Capital in 2022 and covers energy metals. Prior to joining Eight Capital, Puneet spent four years in research at iA Capital Markets covering precious, base, and battery metal mining equities that were large/medium cap producers, junior explorers/developers, and royalty firms. Puneet holds a MBA in Mining and Finance from the Schulich School of Business and a BSc from the University of Manitoba.

Heiko Ihle covers companies in the Metals & Mining industry. Prior to joining H.C. Wainwright, Mr. Ihle spent 2.5 years at Euro Pacific Capital as a Senior Research Analyst, where he was also focused on the Mining industry. Before this, he spent over 6 years working on Equity Research with Gabelli & Company in Rye, NY with a focus on the Industrials and E&C industries. Prior to his time at Gabelli, he completed summer internships with Deutsche Bank on the foreign exchange trading desk in New York, NY and in fixed income sales in Frankfurt, Germany.

A native of Germany, Mr. Ihle received his Bachelor in Finance and Management from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2004 and his MBA from the University of Miami in 2006. He has been a CFA Charterholder since 2010 and is currently a member of the CFA Institute and the Stamford CFA Society.

Alex joined BMO Capital Markets Equity Research in late 2009 as an associate working in the London office, covering the diversified, iron ore and copper sectors. Alex was promoted to an analyst role in 2015 and is responsible for coverage of non-precious mining stocks. In 2017, Alex was named among the “All-America Research Team Rising Stars” by Institutional Investor magazine. Prior to joining BMO Capital Markets, Alex worked in mining consultancy, conducting mining studies and due diligence across multiple commodities, as well as on-site mine planning. Alex is a graduate of Camborne School of Mines and holds a masters in mining engineering.

Katie Lachapelle joined Canaccord Genuity in 2018 as an associate covering the base and precious metals space, working in the Toronto office. Katie was promoted to an analyst role in early 2020 and is responsible for coverage of uranium and battery materials stocks. Katie previously worked in the Audit and Assurance group at PricewaterhouseCoopers, primarily covering the metals and mining industry. Katie is a Chartered Professional Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Commerce, Major in Accounting from McGill University.

Justin Chan is a publishing Equity Research Analyst based in the London office. He joins Sprott from Numis Securities, where he spent four years covering the London gold producer space as well as select LSE, TSX and ASX producers and developers in iron ore, copper, mineral sands, uranium and battery metals. He has been active in the mining space since 2012 including previous roles at GMP Securities in London and RBC Capital Markets in Vancouver. He holds an Honours BCom, Finance, from the University of British Columbia in Vancouver.
